Catalogue

What you get access to.

Every layer below opens in the browser viewer and draws in your GIS. Claims and property outlines also come as raw data, for teams that work the features themselves. What decides whether you see a layer is the ground your subscription covers, not the product you use.

Every layer below opens in the Viewer and in ArcGIS · QGIS · MapInfo. Layers marked + Raw data also come as features with GIS integration Pro.

Canadian geology

Bedrock geology for Canada as one layer, with rock type, era and period, and geological province on each polygon.

Provincial geology

Province- and territory-scale geological mapping, with lithology, age and a unit description on each polygon.

Regional geology 1:5 M

Compiled continental bedrock geology at 1:5 M, harmonized into one lithology and one time scale. It is in our database and not published yet, and we would rather list it here than let it wear the badges of a layer you can open.

Coverage beyond North America

Our catalogue currently covers Canada, the United States and Mexico. Ground outside North America is not part of it today, and we would rather say so than sell you a map with nothing on it.

If your work needs a territory we do not hold, tell us which one — what customers ask for is what we source next.

Our geologists maintain the claims, property outlines and mining assets. Canadian claims are refreshed every week and US claims every month.

How access works

Territory decides, not the product.

A Canada subscription shows the Canadian datasets in the viewer, in your GIS over WMS, and as features over WFS. Adding the United States adds those datasets everywhere at once — you do not buy the same ground twice.

GIS integration Pro is the one exception: its raw data covers claims and property outlines, and it is confirmed after a short call.

Trying it

The free demo opens a Québec sample.

Ten days, no card. Every Canadian layer in this catalogue, limited to Québec. It is the real data, so the decision is made on the real thing rather than on a description of it.

Getting started

Look at the data before you decide.

Try the free demo and every Canadian layer is open to you on a Québec sample for ten days. Tell us the ground you work and we'll size the subscription that fits.
