Choosing between the three

What is the difference between the Viewer, GIS integration Essential and GIS integration Pro?

The same data, three places it can land. The Viewer puts it in your browser — you open a link and look. GIS integration Essential draws it onto the map inside your own GIS, over WMS. GIS integration Pro adds the features themselves over WFS — geometry and attributes you can query and export. Most teams start with the Viewer because nobody has to install anything, then add GIS integration once the GIS people want it in their own projects.

Do I need to install anything to use the viewer?

No. It runs in any current browser, on a laptop or in the field on a phone. No plugin, no licence file, no GIS experience — which is the point: the people who need to look at the ground are rarely the people who run the GIS.

What is WMS access, and how does it work in GIS software?

WMS is a standard way for a GIS to fetch map imagery from a server. You add one connection URL in ArcGIS, QGIS or MapInfo and our layers appear alongside your own — under your drill collars, over your basemap, wherever you put them in the layer order.

Nothing is copied to your disk, so nothing goes stale. Each time you open the project you are looking at the current dataset.

Can I connect from ArcGIS? QGIS? MapInfo?

All three, and anything else that speaks OGC standards. You get a URL and credentials; the connection dialog in each program takes it directly. No plugin to install on the GIS side.

Why is GIS integration Pro quoted separately?

Because it hands over something different. WMS sends a rendered picture of the data — you see it, you cannot take it away. WFS sends the features themselves: geometry and attributes you can store, transform and redistribute.

That is far more valuable, and it is why WFS is priced above WMS rather than bundled with it.

Can I have the viewer and a WMS subscription together?

Yes. They are separate products, and a subscription can carry both — the viewer for the wider team, WMS for whoever works inside a GIS. Tell us what mix you need and the quote reflects it.

Data and coverage

What data is included in the free demo?

Every Canadian layer we serve, on a Québec sample: claims, property outlines, mining assets, geology and protected areas. It is the real data, so you can judge it on ground you know. A subscription is not limited to Québec.

Can I change my coverage later?

Yes. Coverage is a property of your subscription, not a different product, so extending from Canada to Canada + USA is a change to what you already hold. It applies across the viewer, WMS and WFS at once. Territories outside North America are not part of the catalogue yet.

How current is the data?

Claims, property outlines and mining assets are maintained by our geologists: Canadian claims are refreshed every week and US claims every month. Everything is served live rather than shipped as an export, so each time you open your project you see the current version.

Demo, subscriptions and pricing

How does the free demo work?

Register and you have ten days of access — no card, no call. When the ten days are up, access stops; nothing is charged and nothing renews on its own. You can move to a subscription at any point during the trial without starting over.

How do I get pricing?

Pick your access and your ground, and the annual price is on the next screen. GIS integration Pro is quoted by a person, after a short call about how the data will be used. Subscriptions run annually.

How many people can use one subscription?

As many accounts as your subscription covers, with a limit on how many are connected at the same time. Both are set with your subscription, so a team that shares access at different hours needs fewer concurrent seats than people count would suggest. We size it with you.

Still deciding

Ten days answers it faster.

Register and look at the real data. If a question is still open after that, it is probably one worth a conversation.
